About the Role
MJI Energy is a building automation startup bringing AI to an industry that hasn't changed much in decades. We design and install the systems that control HVAC, lighting, and energy use in commercial buildings. On the marketing side we use AI tools for everything — campaign building, content creation, social media, copywriting, and analytics. We are looking for an intern who wants hands-on experience using AI to plan and execute real marketing campaigns. You will get direct exposure to how a small B2B company uses AI to punch above its weight in content and brand building.
What You'll Do
- Use AI tools to create, schedule, and iterate on content — blog posts, social media, email campaigns
- Build and manage social media content with AI-assisted copywriting and imagery
- Help maintain the website and work on SEO with AI content optimization tools
- Analyze campaign performance and put together reports on what is working
- Learn how a lean team builds a brand with modern tools
What We're Looking For
- A student interested in marketing, content, or communications
- Comfortable with writing and creative tools
- Interest in AI-generated content and campaign automation
Nice to Have
Not required — but these will make you stand out.
- Some experience with social media management or content creation tools
- Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Portfolio or samples of writing/content work
